This policy explains what information the PomoDuctivity app for Windows (“the app”) and the website pomoductivity.com collect, why, and what you can do about it. The app is published on the Microsoft Store by innobee. You can use the main Pomodoro timer without creating an account.
Your tasks, focus sessions and settings are saved in a local database on your computer. If you connect Google Tasks or Microsoft To Do, the sign-in tokens are stored in the app's local storage on your PC and your task lists are loaded directly from Google or Microsoft.
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A device identifier generated by Windows for the app, device name, Windows version and app version | When the app starts | To count active installs and investigate problems on specific Windows versions |
| Usage events, such as starting, finishing or skipping a session, opening a screen, the task name of a session, and viewing or completing a purchase | While you use the app | To understand which features are used and improve the app |
| Your onboarding answers: theme, daily focus goal, reminder time and the distractions you selected | Once, when you finish onboarding | To tailor reminders and improve onboarding |
| Crash and error reports | When something goes wrong | To find and fix bugs. Processed by Sentry. |
| Your feedback message and the email address you type in | Only when you send feedback | To reply to you |
Signing in is optional. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address and profile picture through Google Firebase Authentication. Your display name and profile picture, which you can change in the app, and your weekly focus time and number of sessions are stored in Google Firebase and shown on the in-app leaderboard. You can hide yourself from the leaderboard with the “Leaderboard visibility” switch.
Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by the Microsoft Store. We never see your payment details; the app only learns whether you have an active Pro license.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
pomoductivity.com does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Like any website, our hosting and CDN providers process your IP address and browser information to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
Data on your PC is removed when you uninstall the app. To have your account, leaderboard entry or any other data we hold deleted, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
Questions or deletion requests: [email protected], or use the Feedback page inside the app.
